Mohan Dai Oswal Best Paper

Late Mata Mohan Dai (Born on 6th November 1916) wife of Late Shri Vidya Sagar Oswal, founder of the 'Oswal Group', was an epitome of love and benevolence, who aimed in life to serve the people like family. She was a very humble and grounded personality who spread the message of kindness to the needy.

The primary motive of opening the healthcare institution was to provide medical care to the weaker sections of the society to whom comprehensive cancer care in early eighties was a distant dream. Smt Mohan Dai Oswal, who herself was a cancer patient and had to travel abroad to get the treatment, made it a point to bring cancer care services for common man in Ludhiana, Punjab.

Mohan Dai Oswal Hospital (MOH) was established in year 1984 in the fond memory of Mata Mohan Dai so that people in need of the treatment do not have to face any problem the way she had to face. Mohan Dai Oswal Hospital is a 300 bed multi-super specialty hospital, which commenced its operations in the year 1984.

The hospital is raised on 9 acres of land which includes hospital premises, residential complex and parking. Mohan Dai Oswal Hospital is first hospital in northern India to acquire PET scan for accurately diagnosing metastasis and stage of the disease. The hospital is accredited by NABH since April 2018.

Mohan Dai Oswal Hospital is happy to join hands with Association of Medical Physicists of India (Northern Chapter) to sponsor "Best Paper Award" presented to Medical Physicist, whose scientific presentation in oral category in the annual conference of the Northern Chapter is adjudged the best.
